Connection summary

The steps below mirror the expandable card on the integrations index. Follow them in order, then use Connect on the card (or your Khub Settings screens) when you are ready to go live.

How to connect Zed to Khub

  1. 1
Go to Khub Settings > Connections > MCP server

Use the Khub workspace that already holds the knowledge this client should read.

  2. 2
Copy your server URL and API key

Paste the URL and key exactly; stray spaces in the config file break the handshake.

  3. 3
In Zed, open ~/.config/zed/settings.json and add Khub to the context_servers array

Paste the URL and key exactly; stray spaces in the config file break the handshake.

  4. 4
Reload Zed. Khub knowledge is now available in Zed AI

Restart the desktop or IDE application so it reloads MCP server definitions from disk.

What changes when Khub is connected

Update once

Change anything in Khub and every connected tool reflects it immediately. No manual syncing across systems.

Always accurate

Your AI tools answer from your current knowledge, not a stale snapshot from the last time someone remembered to update it.

One source of truth

Khub is the single place your business knowledge lives. Every tool you connect is an output, not a duplicate.
